This is the basic principle: the bigger your port, the more information you will be able to transfer. As the size of your port increases, so does the efficiency and speed of your traffic and data transfer. Picture a super thick milkshake. If you have a smaller, thin straw, it is going to be very difficult to suck up all of that ice creamy goodness. However, if you have a big straw, the thick milkshake can move more freely and travel in less time and with little effort. Now your only problem will be brain freeze.

  • No Uplink Port Upgrade - If you opt not to get the upgrade, your port will be operating at 10 Mb/s
