Renewing a domain before it expires

You may add extra years to your domain at any time before it expires. You will not lose any of your remaining time. Any extra years you add to the domain's registration (up to 10 years) will be added to the end of your existing registration period.

NOTE: All renewals are non-refundable and we cannot remove extra years that are added in error.

To Renew Your Domain

  • Login to your myCP account and choose the menu option Products & Services in the top menu
  • Click on the Renew menu
  • Select the domains you want to renew in the renewal form. You can down the CTRL key to add more than one domains
  • Click Add to Cart and proceed to CheckOut
  • You can change the years you want to add in View your Cart page
  • Verify that the information is correct and click Place Order button to complete the transaction


NOTE: Domains can only have an expiry date of no more than 10 years from the current date. You can register a domain for 10 years, but you cannot renew for 10 years while the domain is active. Renewals can be performed at any time before the expiry date.

To Turn Off Auto-Renewal

If you do not wish to have your domain auto-renew, you need to turn off the auto renew option, which will allow the domain to expire at the end of its registration time period. For security and accuracy purposes, we do not make any changes to your domains or accounts.

To change auto-renewal settings:

  • Login to your account
  • Choose My Domains and then Domain Lists
  • Click on the domain you wish to manage
  • Click on the enable or disable auto-renew link to enable or disable auto-renew
  • If you want to enable auto-renew, please make sure that you have a saved your credit card information in myCP


If turned OFF, the domain will not auto-renew.

If turned ON, we will automatically renew the domain 30 days before the expiration date. There are no refunds on auto-renewals.


Renewing AdamsNames domains (.tc, .vg, .ms, .gd)

The requirement for these domains is for one year at a time. The domains can be registered for one year and then must be renewed annually by having the domain set to auto-renew. There is no grace period for these domains; they are deleted at expiration if they are not set to auto-renew.


Renewing .uk domain name

A renewal for .uk domain name cannot be issued until at least five (5) months prior to the domain's expiration date and effects of a renewal do not occur instantly.


Renewing a domain registered on a leap year

The expiration date for a domain registered during a leap year (February 29) would expire in a non Leap Year on March 1.
