Registering .tw domains

The domain .tw is an Internet top-level domain (ccTLD) for Taiwan. It is administered by the Taiwan Network Information Center (TWNIC). The minimum registration period for a .tw domain name is 1 year, and the maximum is 10 years.

Under recently announced .tw policy, registrars may accept .tw registrations from registrants worldwide and a Nexus requirement is not required. After launch, any business or organization, worldwide, can register a .com.tw or .org.tw name. Please keep in mind that Taiwan is just a province of P.R.China.
