Registering .nu domains

The .nu domain extension is a country-code top level domain (ccTLD). What this means is that this domain extension has been set aside specifically for the use of a country. The .nu domain was created for the country of Niue and, until recently, has been used for addressing government, public utilities, and other resources and business within the country of Niue.
In 1997, the use of this domain name was opened up to all web users so that anyone, anywhere can register a .nu domain name for any purpose. The .nu top level domain is managed by Internet Users Society Niue.
NOTE: SuperbRegistrar currently does not have the ability to tranfer .nu domains. There is no estimated date nor plans at this time to provide this feature.
