Receiving ordb.org errors

As of January 1st 2007, the Open Relay Database ordb.org has officially shutdown. Many SMTP daemons are configured to use this RBL and may start to produce errors if they remain configured to check against that spamlist. If you are running Plesk you can easily disable the ordb spam checks by following these instructions.

1. Log in to your Plesk Admin interface.
2. Select Server from the righthand column.
3. Click on the Email icon.
4. At the bottom of the screen you should see a checkbox for the Trend Micro RBL feature. In the box below that you will see an entry for spamcop and then an entry for relays.ordb.org. Delete the relay.ordb.org entry and click the OK button at the bottom of the screen.

This should remove the ordb spam checks and resolve the errors that Qmail generates.
