Mail in Check or Cheque

If you do not wish to submit your check payment via the secure online forms, you can also mail or courier it to us. Ensure to note your Invoice number on the check or cheque.

If sending in a Canadian cheque in CAD, please x 1.10 your USD amount to get the CAD total. (Yes, we accept payment in CAD.)

We currently do not accept check payments for domain registrations. The reason being while waiting for checks to arrive and clear, the same domains may be taken by others for which we cannot be responsible.

We do, however accept USD check payments for renewals provided that they are sent far in advance of the expiry dates.

When sending a check for a domain renewal in a retail account, be sure to include your login ID with the check. Also be clear as to what domain/service the funds should be applied to when you send your check.

Each check MUST have the Login ID in the memo field and what it is for as in the example below:

Renew domainabc.com
Login: personacct32

Based upon your urgency (such as domain about to expire) you may chose to send via regular mail, which can take several days. Or if you prefer, you can choose to send via an overnight or two-day delivery service. This will be posted much quicker. Please send your payment to our mailing address above.

Wire Transfer

All banks can do a wire transfer, though it usually comes at an extra fee. For our beneficiary banking information please send an E-mail to our Billing Department. Wire transfer fee: $20 (this is what our bank will charge for an incoming wire transfer, so please include extra $20 in your transfer to cover this cost). Please ensure that your bank will include your Invoice number as notes on the wire transfer, so that once the payment can be applied correctly once received. Otherwise, we may not be able to apply your payment to your account!

Money Order/Bank Draft

Virtually all banks have the ability to provide money orders/bank drafts. Please note that it must be:

  • drawn on a US bank (most international banks have connections to US banks and can issue bank drafts drawn on a US bank)
  • properly MICR encoded according to the US standards (otherwise, the draft can not be sent through the Federal Reserve System and will incur *collection charges of $50 and up); not all banks can provide such proper drafts, so please check with your bank first.

Postal Money Order

Postal Money Orders drawn on US or Canadian Mail are acceptable. Foreign postal outlets may offer to send us a Canadian Postal Money order; this is acceptable, though such a money order may take up to a month to arrive.

Cash

We can accept payment as USD cash, but we strongly discourage you from mailing cash as if it gets lost in the mail you will not be able to recover it. If you are mailing cash, please ensure to send it via registered/insured mail.

Western Union

Please contact the Billing Department regarding special arrangements for Western Union money transfers. You should only use this method if none of the other options above are realistically possible for you.

If you have any further questions regarding offline payment options, please don't hesitate to contact the Billing Department.
