Message size
From SuperbHosting Support Wiki
The limit on any one message is 10MB, and that includes attachments after encoding. Please note that a binary file such as a Word document can increase in size as a result of encoding for attachment to email. Therefore, a file of about 6MB in size may increase to more than 10MB after encoding. The following guidelines and advice may also help you:
- Often, files can sometimes be compressed to a tenth of their original size with common compression utilities.
- If you have a large file that you want to share with someone else, you could try to compress the file before sending it. Remember also that Microsoft Word files can be up to 20 times larger than the equivalent plain text.
