A few tips to ensure a successful renewal
- Check your expiration date - If it has been an entire year since your last payment to SuperbRegistrar, then it is possible that your bank has issued you a new card due to expiration. Make sure you've updated your account information with the new expiration date, even if the card number has not changed.
- Check your billing address - Due to the high risk of fraudulent transactions, SuperbRegistrar has implemented an address verification system. This system will check your billing address against the information on file with your bank to ensure accuracy. If this information does not match then the order will not be accepted.
Look at your most recent bank or credit card statement to be sure that the billing address information associated with your credit card matches the address to which your statement has been sent.
While you will want to make this information match as closely as possible, there are a few things that you might want to leave out to make the address verification process go as smoothly as possible. Do not include your apartment number, suite number ,or any other additional numbers in your street address. Although this number may be present when your bank mails your statement, it is really only the street address itself that is used for address verification purposes (example: 1234 Main St. as opposed to 1234 Main St. Suite 567).
- Remove any foreign characters - Try removing any non-english characters or symbols (such as # or &). Occasionally these types of characters have been known to cause inaccurate bank responses.
- Check your Card Verification Code - Bank's have recently begun to require the 3-digit card verification code, located on the back of your Mastercard or VISA credit card (this is a 4-digit number on the front of an American Express card). Double-check to be sure that this number is present in your billing information. Often, this number can be faded and hard to read on the back of your card. If you have any doubt, contact your bank to verify the number. If you have an older card that does not have a verification code on the back, please contact your bank for advice on what should be entered in this field.
- If your country does not use Zip or Postal codes - Some countries do not use postal codes in their addresses. If your billing address is in one of these countries, simply enter 00000 in this field.
NOTE: Domain names can be registered for a maximum of 10 years at any given point in time.
