Creating third level domain names
From SuperbHosting Support Wiki
You may create any third-level domain (sub-domains) that you require. Sub-domains are great if you want to have a sub-domain for your blog or other web applications. DNS and Nameservers must be set to our SuperbRegistrar servers in order to do the following.
For example, to create test.yourdomain.com where test is the sub or third level domain:
- Login to myCP
- Select menu option My Domains
- Click on Domain Lists
- Click on the domain you want the sub-domain associated with.
- Click on the Edit link after IP/MX/SubDomains
- Under Host field, enter sub-domain name
- Select the Type (A, CNAME)
- Fill in the Address field (IP address or domain name)
- Click Submit button
NOTE: The system will allow you to host 10 host records. In other words, there can be up to 10 sub-domains set up on one root domain.
