The Celeron brand is a range of Intel's x86 CPUs for budget/value personal computers. Regarded as Intel's "economic" processor, the Celeron branded processors have complemented Intel's higher-performance (and more expensive) brands. Although Celeron processors are capable of running all IA-32 computer programs, their performance is somewhat lower when compared to similar, but less affordable Intel CPU brands. The Celeron brand will oftentimes be lacking in cache memory and other advanced features.
