Cpanel (Control Panel) and WHM (WebHost Manager) have combined to form a fully featured web hosting control panel system. cPanel/WHM is a graphical web-based hosting control panel that makes server administration more simple, and generally a better experience. cPanel places a special focus on usability, as it is one of their main goals to get you going as quickly and easily as possible. Featuring a helpful account wizard to assist you through your getting started process and beyond, as well as useful help icons and enhanced notifications and error messages to keep you in the know with respect to your computer. Be sure to check out the usability section on the cPanel website.cPanel/WHM handles all aspects of administration in its graphical user interface. cPanel/WHM runs on a number of popular RPM-based Linux distributions, such as Fedora, CentOS, and FreeBSD.

cPanel/WHM is commonly accessed on ports 2082 and 2083 (for an SSL version). Authentication is either via HTTP or web page login.
