Email Forms (Unix)
FormMail
provides simple E-mail forms. Use the path of /cgi-bin/epistola
to access it on our servers. Please note that we have renamed formmail to
a non-standard name, "epistola", as a security measure. Follow
the FormMail
documentation for set-up instructions. Note that you can use multiple
email recipients, separated by commas, but the total length of this field
cannot exceed 100 characters.
BEGINNER'S SHORT CUT: view the
source of this form, edit as appropriate (remember to change the email address),
and FormMail is set-up for you!
We strongly encourage users to use our customized version of FormMail
for its security features. However, if you are using your version of FormMail,
please be aware that it cannot be named formmail or any variation thereof,
as it will be automatically disabled as a security measure. Also note
that our sendmail is located at the default /usr/lib/sendmail
.
